1. What Afrosouq provides
Afrosouq offers an advertising directory connecting independent advertisers and customers in the UAE. We do not act as an employer, recruiter, food seller, property manager, delivery operator, payment processor or contracting party for advertised transactions.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 18 to create an account. Keep your account details accurate and your password private. Do not impersonate others. You are responsible for activity under your account and for notifying support if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. Advertiser responsibilities
Only advertise offerings you are entitled to provide. Obtain and maintain any required trade, professional, food, work, event or property permissions. Descriptions, pricing and availability must be accurate. Do not claim official approval or verification you do not have.
4. Accommodation and regulated categories
Accommodation listings should accurately describe the space, price, availability and rental terms. Food, childcare, wellness, fitness and professional or document services may require additional credentials or permissions. A moderation decision does not replace a licence, legal permission or independent professional advice.
5. Direct arrangements
Providers and customers agree scope, price, payment, delivery, cancellations and refunds directly. Afrosouq does not collect transaction payments, hold deposits or guarantee any result. Check the relevant details before committing. Mandatory consumer rights continue to apply where applicable.
6. Content and moderation
You retain rights to your content and grant Afrosouq permission to display it to operate the directory. Do not upload content you cannot legally share. We may review, decline, pause or remove listings or reviews for suspected breaches, inaccurate claims or reports. You may contact support to request a review of a decision.
7. Reviews and reporting
Reviews must reflect genuine personal experience and avoid abusive or misleading claims. We moderate reviews before publication. Reports should identify a specific concern. Do not misuse reporting to harass a competitor or disclose sensitive personal data.
8. Fees and future services
Basic listings are free at launch. Any future paid placement or subscription will have separate pricing, scope and cancellation terms shown before purchase. Featured placement is advertising and is not an endorsement.
9. Availability and liability
We aim to keep the service useful and available, but cannot promise uninterrupted access or verify every advertiser’s statement. Any limitation of liability is subject to applicable law and does not exclude rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Changes, closure and contact
We may update these terms as the service develops. Material changes will be reflected here. You may stop using the service or request account closure through Contact support. Operator identity, licensed business details and formal dispute venue must be confirmed before commercial launch.
